We had an exciting start to our week. We had a very bold mouse in our classroom yesterday morning! He was definitely not afraid of us! Today was much less exciting.
We continue to count objects and represent them in our own ways. We are, also, working on numbers to at least 10. We need to be able to identify them, count objects to 10, and write them.
In writing, we started a PWIM this week. Yesterday, we labeled everything we saw in the picture. Today the students came up with excellent sentences that used the labels from Monday, and Mrs. Byers wrote them.
In reading, we are learning the difference between fiction and nonfiction books.
Please return any blue folders or library books!
